For those not aware, Minnesota Championship Cyclocross Racing has been using the State Championship Cyclocross race as a means of fund raising for the City of Crystal Park and Recreation Youth programs. Due to our annual donations to the City of Crystal they have been very generous in allowing us to use the Bassett Creek Park for racing. The 2010 state championship race weekend was greatly affected by the first winter storm of the season. The weather suppressed participant turn out and also created the conditions that caused a great deal of damage to the park grounds. Our donation to the City of Crystal ended up being much lower than was hoped for. We are asking for your help in making up the difference! Please contribute what you can to assure that cyclocross racing can continue at Bassett Creek and that the City of Crystal is able to continue to offer great programs for the children of their city. Any amount would be great! We really appreciate your help and consideration!

Number pick up and Saturday pre-registration will be Friday November 12th at Angry Catfish Bicycles and Coffee, 4208 28th Avenue South in Minneapolis from 7 – 10pm. It will still be possible to pre-register for the Saturday State Championship race but there will be no pre-registration available for the Sunday GP Zac Daab race.
